Aug 2- The Night Before!

It’s finally the eve of the trip! Thursday’s packing party was a glowing success, with all ten students not only showing up, but showing up with bags packed compactly and well under the weight limit! While we all expressed some nervousness, the excitement in the air was palpable. Today, everyone (hopefully) spent their time relaxing, and doing some last minute preparations before our 3:00am departure from Julie’s house tomorrow morning. A few groups met to hash out some plans to make sure the trip can start out as smoothly as possible. We’re all going to be dreaming about polar bears, the northern lights, and long train rides tonight. Can’t wait for our journey to get started tomorrow!
