Blog Update August 13

After everyone got up we all met in the kitchen for breakfast. For breakfast we had pancakes, sausages and Adams amazing fries. After breakfast everyone was given jobs to clean up camp. After everyone was done there jobs, we had lunch. For lunch we had quesadillas with old bay and plain cheese. Shortly after lunch we got ready to go check out a fox den. Before we left Julie had us play a game. When we got close to the fox den we put down our bags. we started to look for baby foxes, It didn’t take us long to find two pups. Once we found the pups, we took a break to watch the fox pups. Other  people were looking at the foxes, and some people had to do a transect. After that we started walking towards the cost but we had to walk through about a kilometer of fen and try not to lose a boot. Once we got to the coast a group when for a walk to look for fossils and to look a round, while the other group stayed behind to relax. After 2 hours we started getting ready to head back to camp. On the way back to camp, some people got water in their boots and some fell over in the mud. We had to pick up the bags we left and headed back to camp. When we got back to camp people started making dinner. Maya and Keira made a birthday cake for Aurora. We sang happy birthday. To finish the night we had a scavenger hunt and watched the northern lights.
